Choices abound for the OUTDOORSMAN in Texarkana. From lush woodlands and some of the country’s best fishing at Lake Millwood to family fun at Wright Patman Lake, you can’t go wrong. Hiking and camping areas abound with RV (recreational vehicle) facilities to serve you, whether you are backpacking or relaxing in an RV. Explore Texarkana’s beautiful public parks as well!

Texarkana SPORTS include professional baseball, golfing, stock car racing, tennis, bowling and a family fun park featuring miniature golf, batting cages, climbing tower, and go kart tracks. If golf is your game, Texarkana offers plenty for the golf enthusiast. Opportunities include great golf courses, pro shops and lessons, so be sure to tee-off while you’re in “T-Town”! Also, don’t miss the Texarkana Gunslingers’ baseball season which runs from the end of May through to the middle of August at George Dobson Field in Spring Lake Park.
